Opening a Can

Wonder has it been a year since my last post (Actually dun need to wonder, can check but just that I am lazy.). Anyway, quite a lot of things have happened throughout the whole 2006 (Of course things happened throughout 365 days). Ok, anyway, just treat this post as a summary of what have happened in Year 2006 and do not expect too much from it as only things evolved around me will be stated:

a) Turned 24 yrs old(coming 25 yrs old)

b) Still not promoted (Hopefully this year lor)

c) Still with the same girlfriend (Haha, of course I treasure my dearie)

d) Old Fart and Zarina got married (They dun marry to each other)

e) Lavan getting into another year of his studies (Also another step towards wearing boring working attire - black & white)

f) Lax gotten a new boyfriend (Will it get old eventually?)

g) Lavan’s gay mate still with his decoy-girlfriend (Lavan will agree)

h) Ting & Maureen gotten new job (Bad new for the new companies)

i) My Dearie gotten a new and stable job (Have to be good news to avoid duplication of the comment stated in (h) )

j) Steven got married with a baby! (dun think he will read my blog anyway)

k) Still yet to organise a mini gathering with Hao ge, Patrick, Ah Chan & Steven (Guess everyone is busy with their own works)

l) Met up with 446 & Peter for dinner (Only once in Year 2006, hope to meet up often)

m) Twice with Karen for Lunch (Haha, guess people read this blog is getting impatient)

n) Huiling has again come back from so many holiday trips before we met up for the first time since a year ago (She is from TP Business)

o) Alright, lastly, everyone is still alive including my blog

I shall end this 2nd posting wishing everyone (including people who may never come in to see my blog - THB, LTS, LBH, Joseph, Jane, Andy, Audrey & etc, but I believe the rest will lah), Happy (Chinese, Malay, Indian, Cacusian, etc) New Year and may all of us achieve what we want in Year 2007!

It may be quite late to start a blog million years after human being created it. However, someone tells me that it is never too late to do anything…(Sorry,forgotten who told me).

For all friends who made the effort to view my Blog, I would like to take this opportunity to apologise to you guys. Not for all mistakes I have done or jokes that I had played on you previously, but it is for the ugly Blog that I had set up. Basically, if you guys are going to expect something interesting over here from Ken, then I am going to disappoint you, because the reason why I set up this Blog is because I got nothing better to do at this point of time.

Alright, since all my friends know that I am always busy at work (Please don’t mention my occupation here), I shall make this first posting  a long one, just in case interested audience would like to hear (should be see,right?) from me often and does not have the chance.

Let me start off by explaining why the Blog’s name is ‘Opening a Can’. As everyone knows (Especially my Poly Friends), whenever someone utters any sentence which contains the word ‘Can’, I would always respond, "Har?". Therefore, in this Blog, I will be playing ‘Can’ instead of ‘Ken’ (Guess got people start to leave this Blog after this lame sentence).

Self-explanatory, ‘Opening a Can’ means, finding out about Ken! (For people who has guessed it before I said, you don’t deserve applauds,because it is too easy!).

Just to update everyone about my present lifestyle, just in case some of you are curious to know (Please say you are curious):

Working as a Civil Servant, 5-days week (but very busy and need to go back to office during weekend too),Working Hour is 8.30am-6pm (But always knocked off around 8-9pm), have a car (but hope to change it coz installment is quite high),an understanding & supportive Girlfriend or wife-to-be if she agreed to my proposal in not-so-near future (Dear, you see this?), a team of helpful colleagues, a bunch of crazy & extreme Poly Friend (Yeah, it’s L02) and other wonderful friends that I got to know along my life journey.

Each day, I would work till late at night and end my day with a simple dinner with my Dearest. It is really simple but that is the most enjoyable time of the day for me (At least it’s for me, hope it’s for you too, my Dear). Then, during weekends, I would pray hard not to be recalled back to office as I would want to spend a substantial amount of time with my Dearest again to make up for the simple dinner during weekday. Of course, not forgetting my bunch of L02 buddy! A deserving dinner once in a month (sometimes is once in a while) with them is neccessary too.

Alright, busy people like me have to stop my first posting here. More interesting story will be revealed during the next posting as I have too much of story to tell about my interesting bunch of friends and my sweetest girl of my life. However, these posting will not be published in near future…So, be patient guys! Bye for now.
